Pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 13 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as on the free movement of such data and which repeals Directive 95/46 / EC, also called General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”), we inform you that the personal data voluntarily made available by you to ABSOLUT (on behalf of CNR ISMAR – Institute of Marine Sciences) will be processed in compliance with current legislation regarding the protection of personal data and, in any case, with the principles of confidentiality which inspired the Institute’s activities.
1. Categories of data processed
ABSOLUT (on behalf of CNR ISMAR) will process the following categories of data you provide:
– Personal data (such as name, surname, gender) and contact details (email address);
– Data relating to the working position;
– IP address.
2. Purpose of the processing
The personal data made available to ABSOLUT (on behalf of CNR ISMAR) may be used for sending informative communications and material related to events and conferences.
3. Processing methods
The processing of personal data will be carried out using suitable paper, electronic and / or telematic tools, with logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
4. Provision of data and consequences of a possible refusal
The provision of personal data for the purposes referred to in article 2 above is optional; however, any refusal and / or provision of inaccurate and / or incomplete information could have the possible consequences of the inability to contact and / or receive informative communications by ABSOLUT and CNR ISMAR or by physical or legal entities that collaborate in communication activities of the Body.
5. Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data
Personal data may be communicated to any qualified subjects who provide the Body with services to the purposes indicated in the previous art. 2 such as, by way of example, suppliers, contractors, or other subjects and / or entities that provide the Body with services to the establishment and / or performance of any contractual relationship with the Body.
In any case, your personal data will not be disclosed.
6. Duration of processing
Your personal data will be processed only for the time necessary to achieve the same purposes for which they are processed and, in any case, for a period not exceeding 10 (ten) years. ABSOLUT will retain your data for the time necessary to carry out the assignment assigned to it by CNR ISMAR.
7. Rights of the data subject
We inform you that at any time, in relation to your data, you can exercise the rights provided within the limits and conditions of articles 7 and 15-22 of the GDPR.
For the exercise of these rights, described below, please contact the contact point at the Data Controller at the email address privacy@absolutgroup.it ; A suitable response will be provided to any request without delay within 30 (thirty) days.
In detail, the interested party has the right to:
– revoke the consent previously given, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on consent before the revocation;
– ask the Data Controller for access, rectification or cancellation (so-called “right to be forgotten”) of personal data or limitation of the processing of personal data concerning him or to oppose their treatment;
– obtain data portability;
– propose a complaint to the Guarantor for the protection of Personal Data if he believes that his rights have been infringed.
